Derelle King

Derelle King is entering his 11th year of coaching and elite training for select basketball. He is currently the President and Director of the DFW Hawks basketball club. Derelle graduated and lettered all 4 years at Irving High School, recieved all district honors and went on to play at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Tx. Coach King has a wealth of knowledge and experience from working at various camps across the state. He has coached the Opportunity for Youth Camp, Gannon Baker Camp and Midwestern State Basketball Camp. . Coach King wanted to start his own basketball club with the idea of helping kids with the talent and desire to play select basketball and to also make it affordable to play. With the qualifications and experience of our coaching staff we feel without a doubt that we have what it takes to help your child maximize his or her full potential!

He is married to the love of his life, Kenzie King. They have four children, Asya(17), Kolby(11), Maddux (8) and Carter (4). They reside in Brock, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and has an extreme passion for music.

Kenzie King

Kenzie King is in her 10th year of coaching. She has coached at the varsity, jr varsity and freshman level. She is currently the Vice President of the DFW Hawks Basketball Club and is focusing her career path in eductional administration. Coach King has coached in Birdville ISD, Northwest ISD, Grand Prairie ISD and Brock ISD and currently is the Executive Director of Assessment and Counseling for Mineral Wells ISD. She has worked with and coached with some of the most talented coaches in the state. She was a standout high school player and earned a Division I basketball scholarship to Oklahoma State University and Southern Methodist University. She finished her high school career with two state championships at Brock High School. She was awarded the MVP award in both state tournaments. She was selected as an All-State point guard all four years at Brock High School and is one of only a few Texas High School women’s basketball players to achieve this honor. She lettered in basketball, tennis, cross country and track while at Brock High School and was a state competitor in tennis and cross country as well. She earned her undergrad degree from Southern Methodist University in 2007, her M.Ed. from Lamar University in 2014 and is currently writing her dissertation focused on the RTI process for elementary reading in pursuit of her Ed.D. from Tarleton State University. She has coached in several camps, including the Rolando Blackman Camp, TABC Camp, OSU Camp and SMU Camp.  Her favorite part of coaching is teaching the fundamentals and also teaching mental toughness.
