Free throw – the easiest shot in basketball or is it? A missed free throw (FT) can win or lose a basketball game, yet many players don’t work hard enough to improve at the charity stripe. As a member of Midwest Finest Basketball, teams have the option of competing in a Free-Throw-A-Thon. Each Athlete collects sponsorships for each free throw made out of 100. This fundraiser is used to work on their free-throw skills, a vital part of any basketball player’s game while raising money to go towards monthly expenses; including gym rental and coach’s expense.
